ULLUS COLLECTIVE BOARD MEMBERS

ULLUS is governed by the Ullus Collective Members, established senior level professional Indigenous artists providing direction, guidance and support to the Artistic Director (AD) in the areas of programming and project development for the Ullus Collective Artists. ULLUS Artists are identified as youth, emergent, mid career and established Indigenous artists residing within the BC Interior.

Together the ULLUS Board of Directors and the AD implement opportunities to enhance the identification and dissemination of the BC Interior Indigenous Art Form to its general public and mainstream audiences. The Ullus Collective Members are established Indigenous professional artists covering all artistic practices and Indigenous Knowledge.

ULLUS COLLECTIVE CALL FOR BOARD MEMBERS

ULLUS COLLECTIVE is currently seeking Senior Level Professional Artists fron the following disciplines:

Syilx/ Traditional Arts Member - This member is a speaker of the nsyilxcen language, knowledgeable of syilx culture and traditions and a practicing senior level artist in a traditional art form.

Curriculum Development Member - This member is affluent in the areas of the arts and education as a professional Indigenous artist and/ or educator, working towards the development of Indigenous curriculum in mainstream education.

Treasurer/ Finances - Mid-level administrative and/ or accounting background.
*Can be one of the other Arts Members if they have the background/ experience.
